At its core, design is problem solving. You have too few high res images, imperfect information, not enough time, too many words for the space, not enough words for the space, or, worst of all, a message no one wants to hear. There will always be a challenge. And that’s why I love it.
Over the past 19 years, I have had the opportunity to lead and shape marketing and communications initiatives for corporate, nonprofit, and organizations of all sizes. Currently, I serve as Director of Creative Services for ScionHealth, the nation’s seventh-largest hospital company. In this role, I lead a Creative Team of designers, vendors, and a project manager, partnering with colleagues across the Support Center and in the field to deliver strategic, high-impact creative solutions that support business goals, drive revenue, and communicate our message effectively.
Our team develops and executes campaigns across a wide range of channels, including digital, web, social, video, print, out-of-home, and traditional media. We scale campaigns nationally while maintaining strong brand cohesion, market-specific messaging, and a high standard of design excellence.
Print design is where my career as a communication professional began. The foundation there allowed me to expand my skills, and experiment with a variety of materials and printing techniques.
Digital Work
Digital ads and websites are mediums that change the fastest and often have the biggest impact. I enjoy the fluid nature of this space because it allows you to test, evolve and improve campaigns and websites quickly.
Social Media
Prior to working at ScionHealth, I oversaw my institution’s social media presence. The creative freedom is part of why I continue to love social, but my main adoration for the medium is how quickly you receive feedback. Want to know if you did a good job on a post?
